pressure

Created by Mike Rugnetta and Patrick Davison, “Pressure” is an evening length oratorio about the human brain and its ability to deal with huge amounts of simultaneous information. A piece for vocalist, sounds and visuals, “Pressure” hopes to cause you to use the skills you have developed for dealing with daily onslaughts of data in a new context. In their recontextualization, we hope you might learn something about them.

By presenting more content than can be immediately absorbed, covering subject area ranging from physical phenomena and human relationships to the literal definition of nothing, “Pressure” asks you to find your own connections, both during and after of the performance.

Act 1 of the upcoming three act evening length production will be premiered during Triplicate May 2-3, 2008 at the Gene Frankel Theatre in New York City.
