In honor of John Cage’s 95th birthday, Avant Media Performance presented a celebratory concert of Cage’s work at The Kitchen on his 95th birthday. The evening was divided into two halves. The first, Four6, was performed for electronics, voice, guitar, and video. The second was a true musicircus of Atlas Eclipticalis, Winter Music, and Song Books.
Before the concert was the world premiere sound installation by Randy Gibson, ‘One Wall’ written in honor of John Cage’s birthday.
