On a bitterly cold evening in January, 2007, Avant Media Performance presented its first full-scale production, ‘Anger,’ to a sold-out audience at 20 Greene Gallery in SoHo, NYC. A massive collaboration spearheaded by the composer Randy Gibson, ‘Anger’ involved the participation of over 20 artists over the course of three years.
‘Anger’ was performed live by Randy Gibson, Mike Rugnetta and Laine Rettmer with a pre-show sound environment by Rugnetta, sculptural installations and projection surfaces by Alicia Wargo, and 4 large-scale video pieces by Ana Baer-Carrillo.
A reception and silent auction was held following the performance.
